British National Curriculum experience includes work in Playgroup, Nursery School and Primary School. Our experience and qualifications will ensure your child has an excellent foundation on which to build all formative learning throughout his/her future.
TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENTEach term during the school holiday time the teaching staff attend compulsory training sessions for their personal development, these have been on numerous topics from ‘circle time activities’ to first aid, from numeracy boxes to fire fighting, water play to malleable materials and many more. We often have external trainers in for these sessions and have also had some local government sponsored training.
The school believes that teachers motivation and personal development has a direct impact upon the quality of care your child receives, therefore the school has funded external training sessions from the UK.
The teaching staff have been fortunate to have, often famous trainers such Jennie Lindon, child development specialist and Neil Griffiths a children’s author and Primary School head teacher and director of a National Literacy Project for the Basic Skills Agency in the UK. He was the innovation for the highly acclaimed and award-winning Story sack phenomenon, which we use in schools across the Uk and here in the British Orchard.
