100 Days Celebrations« Back

February the 24th was the 100th day we had been in school this year. We marked this with a 100 days celebration. All the children took part in a numerical day full of activities which centered on our mathematical development. Even the very young children took part and had lots of fun making glasses of 100 and counting to 3,5 and 10 the older children worked with numbers up to 20 and focused on recognition of 100, treasure hunts that followed number lines in fun activities around the school. It was a great success and the children really enjoyed the activities we set for them. We shall repeat this activity day each year as it was so successful.
